They say that buying a house is one of the most stressful endeavors anyone can undertake. I'm not sure that our recent home buying adventure was the most stressful event in our lives, but it was certainly near the top of the list. We were dealing with a probate sale, something that takes everything you think you know about buying a home and turns it up-side-down and inside-out. It makes everything more complicated. And truthfully, the only thing that kept both my wife and I sane was the hard work of our realtor, Nicole Sweeney.
Nicole helped us through every step of the process - from helping us to find the right lender, to overseeing the whole of the inspection process (often asking insightful questions I never would have thought to ask), through close of escrow and beyond. The complexities of the probate sale never seemed to phase her. If we did not understand what was going on, Nicole took the time to explain it to us, multiple times if necessary, until she was sure we understood. We have known Nicole Sweeney and her husband for many years.
